Music, news and sports were well provided by WKDT for the cadets and the West Point vicinity. Army lacrosse, hockey, football, baseball, basketball, and soccer were brought into the cadets' rooms by the fine WKDT sportscasters. The disc jockeys gave the cadets a wide listening pleasure of music of soul, rock, rock and roll, and anything else. The WKDT also held the "Stump the Stars” giving cadets a chance to win albums and pizzas from Tony's. K.C. with the weekly top 40 was covered on Sundays and recorded for weeknight after taps music.
