Music support for the football team, 150-football team, and basketball team was provided by the cadet band. The band also played for musicals for the cadet acting troop. The bagpipe and drum band played in the mess hall as did the cadet band. The bagpipers performed for several other occasions as their group is expanding as is the interest in them. The unfamiliar tune of the bagpipe was heard in the mess hall as Dennis MacGregor leads the bagpipe and drum band away from the poopdeck.
