We may have had the fewest number of Firsties in the Corps, but what we lacked in quantity, we more than made up in quality. In fact, we had such a good time, Crady couldn't resist coming back after a year in the "real world." There was Carlos, the Lawng Island Stud, who spent an interesting summer eating mud at Fort Benning with Sid and Stormin' Normin. We had Nak, who seemed to be the happiest on December 7th. Then there was the Brooklyn Contingent, Dunph and Jerry, who came in and went out together. Mitch spent most of his time cruising, either on campus or in orbit. Then we had our battle-scarred, berib-boned veterans, Ron and Tom. Spi and Paul made quite an entry, either "hitting the books," or hitting the high spots. Strats and Mark came from the wilds of Ohio to find a home in the civilized East. Heino spent his time studying, snuffing, and wondering when the next flight into Canon City might be. Mr. Bearcat, the company politician, is writing a sequel to "How to Win Friends and Influence People." Then there was the Beaner, who convinced his brother that WP was such a good deal, WP ended up with two Beaners. Finally, there was O'B, who headed north from the Jersey marshes to find a home away from home. All in all, we wouldn't trade a single Trooper for anybody!
