The Colonel may have thought we were the most derelict, indifferent, and undisciplined cadets in the Corps, and we're proud to say that in many ways he was right. But we Ducks know that we developed ourselves quite thoroughly between July 1971 and June 1975, the colonel and the West Point system notwithstanding. Super-striper D.T. kept our military endeavors from going too far to pot (let's forget about the antics of the marching doughnut in ceremonies). Dewey might not have been too happy with intramural results, but Herr Mac and fly-boy Stellis were pros with a TV. And while Thig, T, Scotty, and D.T. were grabbing the extra yards, Brian, Nieds, Al, and Z-man were grabbing the extra tenths (we all grabbed the extra beer). The Doc could really put out the hot air in debate, and Harry could have used some of it to move his sailboat, when he wasn't strumming the guitar. Little Man and T.L. teamed up to take on the Chinese Department, when they could get their minds off Wendy and Sue; they finally picked up four biggies, too. Brew-man made us honorable. Maas-man and Combsey spent their weekends rugging; Al, Z-man, the Bear, Stellis, and Georgey III spent theirs playing bridge (when not learning how to build them in CE). Brian and Jeff loved playing with the computer (no better way to get out of NCB), and Rapper's true love was his laser. For advice on hanging loose, we consulted С.С.С. All in all, we lost many battles at Woops, but it cannot be denied that we won the war -- WE LEFT!
