Alternately confusing, discrediting and delighting Captain Jack, C-4's firsties leave to join the annals of the Guiness Book of World Records for sheer diversity. We offer our services not only to the Army, but to the lucrative field of TV repair (Mobes), FM disc-jockeying (Flip and Tommy), used-car sales (Cory), and gun-running (Doc). Guiness will no doubt be interested in Mike, who claims to have dragged every Cliffie at one time or another; Wayne, who was voted cutest guy in the company by everyone else's girl; Dan and Schump, who set up four year residence in the squash courts; and TW, who we introduced to the civilian world.
Looking back, everyone had his own book to write: Mac dictating the principles of galactic travel; Beg's rise to superstardom; Buck's overview of 42nd street; Nick and Boat, who knew well why an anonymous officer commented, 'Your class certainly sticks together . . . too much, in fact.'
Thanks to one and all. What an experience . . . for years is certainly a lifetime. The scribe pockets his pen, takes a last look back, and bids adieu.
